This was a panel discussion that I moderated featuring prominent student activists Aalayah Eastmond and Ty Hobson Powell, and the former Attorney General for the District of Columbia, Karl Racine. The topic of discussion was centered on the critical issue of gun violence.

During the conversation, the panelists addressed the ongoing epidemic of gun violence in the District of Columbia and proposed solutions that could be implemented to tackle this issue. The discussion also delved into effective strategies for intervening, responding, and promoting healing in communities impacted by gun violence.

The panel discussion was a resounding success, bringing together community leaders, students, and various organizations to engage in a productive conversation about a problem plaguing our society.
